The Property

San Domenico Accommodation is a recently renovated property located on the ground floor of a modern building, in one of the most beautiful and easily reachable places in Maiori, to enjoy a relaxing and magical stay on the Amalfi Coast.

San Domenico Accommodation offers its guests all the comfort and privacy they need for a holiday on the Amalfi Coast in full autonomy, just 500 meters from the beach, in front of San Domenico Church, dating from the second half of the XVII century, in Baroque style.

The property also runs a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious local dishes, located in a picturesque alley along the main street (www.masaniello.biz).

 

Maiori Town

Located in the middle of the Amalfi Coast, Maiori is a lovely town with a beautiful seafront and the largest beach of the whole coast. In addition, it offers its guest the pleasure of an old gastronomic tradition and a very suggestive historical center, perched on the ridges of the hills, consisting in small and picturesque vaulted houses, alleys and panoramic views. Maiori is a touristic town that can satisfy even the most demanding visitor. Sea lovers will have a large pebbled beach as well as the possibility to rent a boat for reaching one of the many coves along the beach, the Pandora Grotto or the Sulfur one.

The Rooms

San Domenico Accommodation has 5 recently refurbished double rooms, located on the ground floor of a modern building, in the heart of Maiori historic center.

The rooms are wide and bright, tastefully furnished and equipped with private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, mini bar, LCD TV, wi-fi internet connection and balcony.

All the rooms also share a lovely terrace with tables and chairs. Breakfast is served every morning in a bar located a short distance from the property. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms.

Due to its position, it is the perfect starting point for excursions to the other towns of the Amalfi Coast (such as Amalfi, Ravello, Positano), Sorrento, Naples, Vesuvius, Caserta Royal Palace, the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, the Greek temples of Paestum, as well as Capri and Ischia, easily reachable by daily ferry connections.

From Rome

1. "Leonardo da Vinci" airport.

2. FS Train (every hour) to Termini, then to Naples (info: www.trenitalia.it).

By Train

From Naples

The railway station is connected to Sorrento by the Circumvesuviana line train (departing every 25 minutes). From Sorrento to Positano, Amalfi and Salerno, take the Sita bus.

From Salerno

From the railway station, take the Sita bus to arrive to Amalfi and Ravello.

By Car

From Naples (60 Km):

A3 motorway, exit at Castellammare di Stabia and follow the indications to Sorrento (SS145) and, then, to the Amalfi coast (SS143).

From Salerno (34 Km):

Exit at Salerno centre and take the SS163 Amalfitana.
